About
My mother has asked me to introduce her, which feels a little like being handed a paintbrush and told to capture the ocean. Everyone calls her Ms. Tally, and for good reason: across four decades and more states than most people visit in a lifetime, she has built a life around beauty, hospitality, and the belief that every space, garden, and gathering deserves to be made with intention.
Her path has taken her from international training with Clinique to teaching cooking and gardening at Le Domaine in Fort Washington, from planning weddings across Charleston with Distinctive Events to owning her own award winning flower shop, Belle Fleurs, in Mt. Pleasant. She went on to lead floral design for Fiddlehead Designs in North Carolina before launching her own garden and interior design firm, WOW! Divine Designs, with clients from Charleston to Cashiers, Bainbridge Island to Spring Island. Most recently, she's added ceramic pottery to her repertoire from her studio in Leesburg, Virginia, because apparently four creative careers weren't quite enough.
If you ask her where all this comes from, she'll tell you it's simple: God is the master creator and designer, and everything she makes, whether it's a bouquet, a garden, a glazed bowl, or a perfectly set table, is just an attempt to reflect a little of that original artistry back into the world. That's Ms. Tally.
